Incident 1: Death of Rahmat Ullah (25), 1 June 2007, Chittagong
According to police, Rahmat was riding up on a cargo lift of the factory, Miss Tresses Garments, when she was injured. Duty doctors Chittagong medical college hospital declared him dead.

Incident 2: Death of Mohammed Nurunnabi (25), 6 June 2007, Brahmanbaria
Whilst working at the boiler of the Mihebhandari Rice Mill, a detached electric wire fell on him causing his instant death.

Incident 3: Death of Shahjuddin (40) and injury to Rabiul and Baner Ali, 6 June 2007, Kushtia
About 5:30 am in the morning, the boiler in the rice mill exploded, and as a result Shahjudin died on the spot.

Incident 4: Death of Md. Faruque Hossain (35), 6 June 2007, Dhaka
According to sub-inspector of Sutrapur thana, Faruque Hossain was electrocuted when an iron rod he was pulling came into contact with an electric wire. The owner, Md Jewel, came to rescue him and he was also electrocuted. His brother Tuhin then came to rescue him.

Incident 5: Death of Romesh (25), 7 June 2007, Dhaka
According to the fire service, Romesh came into contact with an electric wire and was electrocuted whilst working at Bengal Steel Workshop.

Incident 6: Injury of Hajera Khatun (35), Rashida and Halida Begum
At midday, the roof of the under-construction a garments and dying factory (of S.Q. Group) collapsed

Incident 7: Injury of Md Manju
As a result of an electric short circuit, a fire started in a factory which burned Manju

Incident 8: Death of Mizanur Rahman (25), 15 June 2007, Brahamanbaria
He was electrocuted whilst repairing a transformer at Brahamnbaria Electric Department

Incident 9: Death of Shremoti (28), 19 June 2007, Gopalganj
She died when her cloth suddenly wrapped around the belt of the machine at Almas Jute Mill

Incident 10: Death of Yousuf (20), 19 June 2007, Sylhet
Yousuf fell from fifth floor of the building Liyakot Bhaban which was under construction

Incident 11: Death of Rafiqul Islam (40), 20 June 2007, Chandpur
Rafiqul went to Habib Villa for the purpose of cleaning a safety tank – where he was exposed to toxic gas and died.

He fell from the sixth floor of a building under construction.

Incident 13: Death of Hanif (22), 26 June 2007, Mymensingh
Hanif was crushed when a wall collapsed

Hair was caught in a machine

Whilst trying to protect salt from rain, he was hit by lightening

Incident 17: Death of Rubel (25), 7 June 2007, Dhaka
Four workers were clearing the sewage line in Kamalpur area - but the top that connected them together snapped and Rubel fell into the sewage Canal. His body could not be fined.

Electrocuted at a shoe factory
