Incident 1: Deaths of Alimuddin and Nuruddin, 25 Feb 2007, Dhaka
40 year old Alimuddin, and 35 year oold Nuruddin, died whilst they were digging a deep hole adjacent to an old safety tank. When the hole was about 20 foot deep, the earth collapsed. The employer was Sayed Mullah. See investigation

Incident 2: Deaths of Lal Miah, Idrish Ali, Mostafa, and Monshur Ali, and injuries to two others, 22 Feb 2007, Dhaka
35 year old Lal Miah, 30 year old Monsure Ali, 32 years old Mostafa and 30 year old Idris were killed and the other workers injured, some very seriously, from a fire in a safety tank at Pacific Bhavan (adjacent fo North-South University). Workers went inside the tank, with an electric bulb, to clean the tank. The bulb exploded when the gas made contact with the bulb causing a fire which exploded out of the tank. See investigation

Incident 3: Injuries to Billal Hossain, Alam and Juel
A fire broke out at as a result of something to do with the electrics in the building. The workers were all seriously burnt and were rushed to Dhaka Medical Hospital.

Incident 4: Injury to Kholilur Rahman, Bellal and Shultan
Three construction workers fell from the roof ot the Union Parishod Bhavan, which was under construction. The condition of Kholilor Rahman was, at the time of the article, critical and was rushed to Barishal Medical College Hospital.

Incident 5: Death of Layeb Uddin, Injuries to Sayedur Rahman and Alif Alif, 1 Feb 2007, Rajshahi
35 year old Layeb Ali, a day labourer, had been a student but due to poverty he went to work with his father. As he and two other workers were digging a 20 feet hole under a sluice gate - one side collapsed ontop of workers. Layeb Ali died on the spot and other two workers were seriously injured. The work was undertaken for the the Borendra Multipurpose Development Authority

Incident 6: Death of Lebu Miah. 10 Feb 2007, Chittagong
30 year old Lebu Miah was crushed under a cutting plate whilst working for Jamuna Ship Yard.

Incident 7: Death of Nur Islam Babu, 17 Feb 2007, Dinajpur
30 year old Nur Islam Babu, was buried under earth whilst cutting it in a brick field owned by DS Bricks.

Incident 8: Injury to Faruk, Abdul Kader, and Anisur Rahman and two others
After starting the furnace to melt the rod, the furnace exploded.
