The
Investigation of Directors - HSE's Policy
This page contains the specific guidance that HSE
inspectors are given in relation to the investigation
of directors/senior managers under section 37.
This specific guidance contained within an appendix
to a more general guidance document on the investigation
and prosecution of individuals. It is called "Prosecuting
Individuals" and it is referred to as 'Operational
Circular 130/8'.
In
addition, the HSE has a more detailed policy towards
undertaking investigations generally.
