Incident 1: Death of Azizul, 29 Jan 2007, Bogra
In a rice mill owned by Abdul Khaleque, during the process of steaming/boiling the paddy, 40 year old Azizul died when the boiler exploded.

Incident 2: Death of Sagar, Alamgir, Shojib, Mizan, Russel, Akash and Ershad, 25 Jan 2007, Dhaka
At Nipa Metal Engineering, solvent gas caught fire in a room being used by these workers to varnish fans. Sagar was 21 years old and Shojib was 10 yeas old. See Investigation

Incident 3: Death of Iqbal, 22 Jan 2007, Dhaka
Working on a construction site in Dhaka, fixing tiles on the floor edges, 14 floors up, 25 year old Iqbal fell from the edge to the ground.

35 year old Badal was crushed to death whilst working at Kamal brick field, when the mud that he was cutting collapsed onto him

Incident 5: Death of Ahmed Ali, and injuries to Al-Amin, Mohammed Suliman and Mohammed Farouque, 16 Jan 2007, Dhaka
30 year old Ahmed Ali was working at Salam Steel mill and was burnt to death when a hot water pipe came disconnected. See Investigation

Incident 6: Death of Lebu Chandra and injury to Shajedul, 11 Jan 2007, Nilphamari
Whilst working in the Lemunab Muri Mill, 35 year old Lebu made contact with an electric cord – and Shajedul tried to save him but was injured in the process.

Incident 7: Death of Mohammed Ayub, 7 Jan 2007, Chittagong
60 year old Mohammed fell from the roof of the house of his employer, Sirajul Hossain, while repairing the WASA pipeline.

Incident 8: Death of Mohammed Kallu, 6 Jan 2007, Coxs Bazaar
35 year old Mohammed was a day labourer engaged in demolishing the old the old walls of the house of Mr Sabir Alum and errecting new ones. One of the walls collapsed on to him. The son of the employer also died in this incident.

Salim, a supervisor, died when he fell from the 3rd floor whilst supervising the work of a multi-storied builiding construction
