Rule
Nisi, 16 March 2006 "returnable within three
weeks", Government respondents had to show
cause as to why they (a) "should not be directed
to take necessary action as required by the law
and the constitution to effectively investigate,
prosecute and punish those responsible for the
deaths and injuries" and (b) to take all
necessary measures for such purpose and for prevention
of any future such occurence" including seeting
up a national committee to make proposals to prevents
such incident; providing compensation; inspecting
factories to ensure cmplieance with fire safety
regulations.
